Annual Meeting and “Tribute to Brewster”

Please join us on Wednesday, October 21st at Babica Hen Café 15964 Boones Ferry Rd, in Lake Oswego, 97035 for our annual meeting and a special tribute to our founder, Brewster Rogerson.

A short business meeting at 5:30, including the election of a number of new board members, will be followed by a social hour at 6:00 when guests will join the members for social hour and our tribute. We will have substantial hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and then what promises to be a wonderful tribute to Brewster followed by announcements about events planned for FRCC’s 10th year!

Saturday Sept 19 11:00-4:00 is Lake Oswego Park and Recreation’s Harvest Festival.

Location: 125 Rosemont Road, West Linn, OR

Please join us at the Rogerson Clematis Garden at Luscher to celebrate fall and the abundance of local farmers, organic education and sustainable practices. The afternoon event provides an exciting opportunity for visitors to explore the Farm and learn about activities and programs that operate all year round. The event features nursery items, fresh produce and original artwork as well as games, food and fun for the entire family.

Visit Cisco and the Kids Petting Zoo, see the special group art project from Summer Farm Camps, taste farm fresh treats and celebrate a bountiful harvest with the City’s Farm Partners (we are one of them!) at this free event.

We are holding the annual meeting, giving a tribute to Brewster and kicking off a yearlong celebration of the 10th anniversary of FRCC and the Garden at Luscher Farm. More information to come. Please mark your calendar and join us for a lively evening and to meet new board members.

Remember we are at the garden on the 4th Saturday of every month at which time you can visit the greenhouse and the garden.

On Saturday, June 6th, Linda will be teaching a “Growing Clematis” class at three different 7 Dees nursery locations.

In the class you will learn how to give your plants the very best start in your garden and how to keep them thriving through the years. Please join us for a fun and informative class.

Preregistration is required ($5.00) with 7 Dees and you will get a $5 coupon off a $25 purchase at 7 Dees. Class times: 10 a.m. at the Class Cedar Hills store; 1 p.m. at the Lake Oswego store; and, 3 p.m. at the Southeast Portland store.
